About the Presenter: Mark has over 18 years experience in public health education and has worked in various county health departments,

large and small nonprofit agencies, and two universities.  A large part of his career has been managing national training and technical assistance projects, primarily focused on agency capacity building. He has worked in environmental health, youth mentoring, substance abuse prevention, tobacco control, HIV prevention, childhood immunizations, and has a long track record of successful grant writing. Currently he runs a consulting firm Facilitation & Process, LLC and serves as the part-time Development Director for Reclaiming Futures National Program Office housed at Portland State University. Mark holds a masters’ degrees from San Diego State University (MA, Educational Technology) and Loma Linda University (MPH).
