With stress, the mind and body will eventually shut down and you shut off.  The more stress that is in your life, the more this will be the case. Self care behaviors go out the window.  When you learn to witness your body and emotions, you learn to witness your physiology and notice that you do not like the way you feel before it becomes a problem.  Then, you can use simple and effective tools that help you shift that physiology and find balance and health. These tools involve accessing love in all its forms and creating The Love Response.

About the Presenter: Eva Selhub, MD, is a trained internist, author, and an inspirational teacher. Dr. Selhub is an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a senior physician at the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind/Body Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital (formerly the Mind/Body Medical Institute), where she is an Associate in Medicine.  She served as the Institute’s Medical Director from 1999-2007. Dr. Selhub maintains private practice as an Integrative Medical

Specialist in Newton, Massachusetts, where she fuses Western and Eastern medical modalities into a unique approach to health care, one based on enabling her patients to instantly access a state of love and balance. She has successfully helped thousands of patients physically and mentally.  Dr. Selhub’s is an articulate advocate of mind/body medicine and enjoys a flourishing career as a speaker, teacher, and media spokesperson. She authored The Love Response, the groundbreaking mind-body-health book published by Ballatine/Random House in 2009.

She has released four relaxation CD’s, including a title in the “Ten Minutes to Relax” series which ranked in SoundScan’s Top 25 CD’s in the New Age category in November, 2008.  Selhub has lectured throughout the United States and Europe and has trained healthcare professionals from all over the world in her mind/body healing methods.  She has been published in medical journals, has been

featured in Self, Shape, Fitness, the Journal of Woman’s Health, USA Today, and the New York Times, and has appeared on radio and television.  She also has her own radio show called The Love Response Show on www.Iamhealthyradio.com, and posts regular blogs which are syndicated worldwide on www.Intent.com, www.Huffingtonpost.com, and www.SpaMagazine.com.
